I think that they DO, now, look like ten-year old kids on your drawing( unlike on the cartoon, when they doesn´t look at that age AT ALL ); I really like your fluid outline work here, rather than the rigid and edgy 2D "style" from the cartoon, indeed^^
Still,
As a matter of constructive criticism, I think that Timmy´s head could be reworked - by lowering his ear and eye alignments, and to wide the skull horizontally rather than vertically, at the same time to thin their necks a bit, but I´m sure such a taleneted and skilledd artist like you would figure that out very easily!
However, I still love the way you depicted them, and certainly would love to see more on this!
